A landmark collaboration is set to enrich the Indian film landscape. True Story Films and Amen Movie Monastery have announced an upcoming feature directed by acclaimed filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery, with an original score and songs composed by Academy Award-winner A.R. Rahman.
Penned by Karan Vyas and Pellissery, the film promises to be a lyrical exploration of love, longing, and the fragile complexities of human connection.
Widely regarded as one of the boldest and most inventive voices in Indian cinema, Pellissery has earned international recognition for his visually daring and narratively audacious films. With this project, he turns his gaze to romance, promising an intimate yet expansive cinematic journey.
Joining him is music legend Rahman, whose timeless compositions continue to transcend borders and generations. His ability to weave evocative melodies with immersive soundscapes positions the film as both a visceral and lyrical experience — a musical ode to romance itself.
Casting for the film is currently underway.
