The story revolves around Akash (Pulkit Samrat) and Shruti (Yami Gautam) who lives in a mountain town called ‘Tanakpur’. As predicted by the grandfather of Akash (Rishi Kapoor), he finds his love 500 steps away from his grandfather’s photo studio. They fall in love with each other since childhood but while growing up in life, Akash moves to a bigger city to make his career. As story passes, unknowingly Akash comes closer to Mrs. Pablo (Urvashi Rutela) and this is where triangle of love story begins. The best part of the movie is its locations. The various part of Shimla is beautifully shown that becomes the centre of attraction in the movie.
The dramatic use of cinematography can be seen here. Rishi Kapoor in the role of a grandfather of Akash (Pulkit Samrat) has done his bit. The beautiful Urvashi Rautela has given several bold scenes and holds the attentions of the audience for quite some times. On the other side Yami Gautam also catches the attentions for playing mind blowing character of an innocent small town girl.
Despite of having good artists, melodious songs and of course a good locations, storyline made this film little dull and boring. The same storyline could have been made better and more entertaining. It started with good scenes and dialogues but as story passes it becomes little dull and finally meets to an unwanted poor ending.
Although beautiful locations and melodious songs entertains enough to the audience but somewhere could not meet the expectations of the audience. It’s a good effort that could have been better.
