Debutant Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara is one of the finest musical romantic drama movies of the year. One can easily discern the style and feel of director Mohit Suri.

The story revolves around Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), an aspiring star singer. One day he accidentally meets Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), an intern journalist, and gets inspired by her lyric writing. Both are facing challenges in their respective careers, but perhaps their collaboration may help in their career growth. Krish’s voice and Vaani’s lyrics really worked for Krish’s career. While running ahead of time to achieve their professional goals, both fall in love with each other, but a twist comes in their life when Vaani comes to know about her special disease of memory loss. For Krish’s betterment of career, Vaani leaves him and runs away from his life that made the situations more complex. Does Vaani get back to normal? Does Krish achieve his dream without Vaani? To know the answers to these questions, one must watch the film.

Ahaan Panday is no doubt the center of attraction in the film, but Aneet Padda’s innocent screen look adds more colors to the film. Both actors have done their best and perfectly justify their parts. Apart from the lead pair, other artists like Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, and Varun Badola have also made their presence felt.

Apart from good performances and a nice cast, music is another beauty of the film. In fact, songs by Mithoon, Sachet-Parampara, Tanishq Bagchi, Rishabh Kant, Vishal Mishra, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nisami and the score by John Stewart Eduri are the heart and soul of the film.

Overall, this is one of the finest musical romantic dramas that will attract the new generations, of course. This is an above-average film that can be seen at least once. So, why wait? Go and watch it in your nearest cinema hall.
