Renowned producer Vinod Bachchan, who won hearts with hits like Tanu Weds Manu and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, is ready to revive the romance and humor with Ginny Weds Sunny’s eagerly anticipated sequel. With the gifted Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr playing the key parts, Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 presents a new duo.
The film’s shoot schedule in Uttarakhand began when the lead actors, Avinash and Medha, posted clapboard photos from the sets on Instagram.
The original Ginny Weds Sunny, starring Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey, premiered on Netflix in 2020 and quickly became one of the most-watched titles.
With a new plot and a new surprise, the sequel now promises a mix of romance, family entertainment, oddball humor, and touching moments for people of all ages.
Talking about Ginny Wedss Sunny Part 2, producer Vinod Bachchan said, “We are excited to bring a new chapter to the Ginny Weds Sunny universe. The sequel is written and directed by Prasshant Jha, and produced by Vinod Bachchan under the banner of Soundrya Production.
