Director Anukalp Goswami’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is one of the average comic dramas that have created a mixed response among audiences.
The story revolves around a Bhopal-based middle-class Hindu boy (played by Kapil Sharma) who, despite getting married to three different girls of different religions secretly but unwillingly, is still struggling to marry his real love. His best friend (played by Manjot Singh) supports him in every problem. Only the Hindu girl (played by Tridha Choudhury) lives with him at his parents’ house; the other two wives live at their father’s home, where he usually goes and spends time with them. None of them are aware of this secret. The entire movie is all about how he escapes from this big secret and spends time with all three wives. Does he really become successful enough to maintain this secret? What if the story opens up? What happens to his real love for whom he is still struggling to marry? To know what happens at the end, one must watch the film.
Actor Kapil Sharma is the centre of attraction in the film. His acting is quite good, and he has tried his level best to justify his part. Apart from him, Manjot Singh and Akhilendra Mishra have also made their presence felt with their mind-blowing performances. Apart from them, actresses like Tridha Choudhury, Hira Warina, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan have given their best performances. Overall, every artist has done a good job.
The poor plot and screenplay bored the audience with nearly identical circumstances and turns in the protagonist actor’s life path, despite having a respectable star cast. The director lost the ability to hold the attention of the audience in order to produce humor, which in reality could not have been produced the way it could have been. Although the dialogue is quite outstanding, the audience was not particularly amused by the plot as a whole. The film just reaches the 50% threshold when compared to its previous instalment.
There were high expectations from the music of such a comic genre; still, even music could not meet the expectations of the audience.
Overall, this is an average film that gives the audience a mixed response. Kapil Sharma has his own fan base that matches with the comedy genre, so it can be recommended to watch at least once.
