Director Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 3 is one of the most successful franchises, and no doubt the third instalment of the movie is not less impactful than the previous two.
The story revolves around Jagdishwar Mishra, alias Jolly, an advocate in a Delhi court. Incidentally, another advocate, Jagdish Tyagi, who is also known by his nickname, Jolly, works at the same court. Due to the same name, sometimes a few clients accidentally meet Jolly Mishra instead of Jolly Tyagi. Here, the clash starts between them. A twist occurs in their lives when a poor widow from Parsula village in Rajasthan seeks help from Jolly Tyagi, who then refers her to Jolly Mishra; however, neither of them wants to take her case because she cannot afford the fee. After the interventions of Jolly’s wives, both Jollys take this issue seriously, and both jointly promise her to fight for her to get her land back from the business tycoon Khaitan (Gajraj Rao), who illegally captured not only her but the entire village’s land in the name of development. The case comes under Judge Sundar Lal Tripathi (Saurabh Shukla), who is familiar with them. Industrialist Khaitan uses his full power against Jolly’s client. Climax is the real crux of the story. So, to know what happens at the end, one must watch it.
The acting of Akshay Kumar is, as usual, powerful in the role of Jolly, and this time again he proved himself to be the most fit for this franchise. Actor Arshad Warsi is another attraction of the movie. He has also justified his part in this film. Actors Gajraj Rao and Saurabh Shukla are two other outstanding performers who made this film reach the next level. Gorgeous Huma Qureshi, as usual, seems perfect in her small but impactful role. Apart from them, Amrita Rao, Seema Biswas, Shilpa Shukla, and Ram Kapoor have also made their presence felt.
The direction of Subhash Kapoor is outstanding. The charisma of his direction can easily be seen this time too. Apart from a good direction and star cast, the story and screenplay are also superb. The screenplay and dialogues keep the audience engaged throughout.
Overall, this is one of the finest comedy-cum-courtroom dramas that will not make you disappointed, unlike its previous two instalments. This is the fully paisa vasool movie of the year. So, why wait? Go and watch it in your nearest cinema hall.
