Sunny Deol’s Jaat is one of the most anticipated movies of director Gopichand Malineni.
The story revolves around Brigadier Balbir Pratap Singh (Sunny Deol), a man always on a mission. Once he goes to Andhra Pradesh and meets a small incident where a goon misbehaves with him but doesn’t say sorry for that. To listen to an apology from him, he beats him and comes to know about his upper hand, and through him, he meets the mastermind behind them named Ranatunga (Randeep Hooda). Ranatunga is originally from Sri Lanka, who enters Indian territory illegally and creates the empire of his crime here.
Ranatunga is one of the most brutal smugglers that no government official could take any action against. During the expansion of his wisdom of crime, he takes extreme, inhuman steps of killing poor villagers to vacate the 40 villages illegally. A twist comes in his life when he faces the challenges from Brigadier Balbir Pratap Singh. Climax is the real crux of the story. To know what happens at the end, one must watch the film.
Actor Sunny Deol is the heart and soul of the film. His action sequences are quite powerful, and as expected, the whistles and claps are common in many of the action scenes. It seems like Sunny Deol is back in his Gadar avatar once again. Apart from Deol, actor Randeep Hooda is another attraction of the film. As a lead villain, he is shown so cruel that many of the brutal violence scenes picturized on him cannot be seen with naked eyes. Apart from them, other actors like Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, etc., have also done justice to their parts.
Apart from a powerful action sequences and a nice storyline, music of Thaman S is another strength of the film. Songs are quite entertaining and enhances the beauty of the film. Action sequences and the brutal murder scenes are shown so frequently that weak-hearted people must avoid watching this film. Also, please avoid taking a kid with you if planning to see the film. We can say that this is one of the most brutal films of the year.
Overall, this is among the year’s most impactful action films and lives up to Sunny’s action movie standards. Why wait, then? Go and watch it in the cinema near you.
