When did you first realise you wanted to pursue a career in acting?

I wanted to act when I was quite young. I loved watching films and always imagined myself in front of the cameras. I didn’t even realize when that dream slowly turned into a passion and then into a reality.
What are the 3 things you like most in yourself?
I like how I stay positive even during tough times, I appreciate how hardworking I am, and most of all, I love that I’m always eager to learn new things.
Who is your favourite Bollywood actor and why?
My favourite actor in the industry was late Irrfan Khan. His acting was so raw and real. You know, he had this amazing ability to convey so much without even speaking a word. He was truly a legend. I have watched all of his films and learnt so much.
Which Bollywood movie or song touches your heart?
Karan Johar’s film Kal Ho Naa Ho the title song always makes me emotional. The story feels so real, and the music of the film is so soulful. It’s one of those films that just stays with you for a long time.

What do you do when feel low?
When I feel low, I watch a movie or I spend time with my family it makes me feel better.
What were your turning point in your professional life?
Balaji’s Naagin was a big turning point for me. The show became really popular, and that’s when people started noticing me more. It really helped my career move forward and also, I have made a permanent space in audience’s heart.
What’s your preference acting or anchoring?
If not acting, I would be doing anchoring. I enjoy being in front of the camera. Also, through anchoring, hosting I have got so much love from my fans.
You have worked on TV, OTT, reality shows, and movies as well. Which particular segment gives you more work satisfaction and why?
All are special. TV lets you connect with people daily, while OTT gives you more space to perform deeply. I enjoy both in different ways. As an actor I love all the mediums.
Which of the TV series you have worked on is your favourite?
It’s hard to pick one, but Naagin is very close to my heart. It was a big success, and also the show gave me much needed support, attention from the industry.
What are your upcoming projects?
I finished Laughter Chefs and I’m going to the US for a month.
