In a short period in the Indian TV industry, you became a popular household name. How did it all happen?

I worked hard and I am passionate about acting. I got decent opportunities. I am grateful to God He gave me amazing shows and amazing producers to work with. Be it Behenein, Amrit Manthan or Naagin all were different roles

You achieved a grand success with Naagin; how was it different from your other works?

Naagin my role was fantastic. Audiences loved my role and look. Naagin is a brand. Each time I did Naagin I was loved. Sheesha had different shades positive and negative. Fans accepted me in both.

Apart from TV series, you have worked on many TV reality shows and OTT as well. Which segment gives you more work satisfaction among these and why?

All mediums are good. As an actor there is ample scope for all mediums. TV makes you household name. Reality shows give different hype. Tv reality I just did khatro ke khiladi I loved being a part of it! Got lots of love and was named Silent Killer Adaa.

OTT has not just changed the industry but has also given viewers a wide range of content. Do you personally feel it can be a threat to the big screen in the long run?

Ott can’t be a threat to TV or films. All have their audience. Ott has opened more doors and made content more available. Ott has a wide variety to showcase talent.

When can we see you on the big screen / Bollywood?

Whenever the opportunity comes.

It is widely noticed that post-lockdown, the trend of moviegoers has changed. How do you look after this change?

Audiences have started thronging to theatres. Look at Pathaan, Jawaan and now Dunki. Movie experience is movie experience.

Who is your favorite Bollywood actor and why?

SRK is my favorite actor. He performs all roles with absolute perfection and emotion

Given a chance, would you like to join politics?

No i will be a misfit in politics. I am a simple person. I am an actor and will stick to acting.

What are your upcoming projects?

Talks are on. There is no immediate project coming.
