The makers of the Hindi film Cousin Isha were looking for the perfect face to play the role of Isha in their film. Many names from the film and TV industry were considered, but nothing worked out. That’s when the film’s male lead, Vikrant Rai, stumbled upon a scene from Kartik Aaryan’s film ‘Freddy’, featuring Harshika opposite Kartik Aryan.
Her screen presence and acting convinced Vikrant that he had found his Isha. This was shared with the makers, and they shared the same sentiment. That’s how Harshika Kewalramani landed the title role of Isha in the film Cousin Isha, opposite Vikrant Rai.
Harshika Kewalramani has also styled A-listers in many big Bollywood film projects and, as an actress, has appeared in series such as Girls Hostel and Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Silence 2’. Harshika has also learned the nuances of acting under Manoj Bajpayee’s mentorship.
Cousin Isha, starring Vikrant Rai and Harshika Kewalramani, is scheduled to begin filming this November in Bhagwant Nagar, Unnao District, Uttar Pradesh. Young and talented director Vaibhav Verma, known for Tatkshan, is ready to captivate audiences with a unique love story in Cousin Isha this winter.
