Actress Hansa Singh, Actress Hansa Singh news,, who has been a part of projects like Hunterrr, Page 3, Criminal Justice, Goodbye, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, Flip, and Tom Dick and Harry, feels fans are an important part of an artist’s journey. She said, “Acknowledgment is needed by every human being, and fans are a very important part of our ecosystem.”
“Their love and support can light up my entire day. Sometimes, it even makes me think differently. They boost my confidence too,” she added.
Though she agrees that adulation keeps an actor motivated, she stressed that sometimes it can be overwhelming. She added, “Especially if you aren’t seeing things that way. But over the years, I have learned to deal with it, and the pressure one feels gets diluted with time.”
Hansa calls herself incomplete without her fans, and she doesn’t mind giving them an autograph or a selfie. However, she added, “Thankfully, my fans are happy just to say hi. So far, I haven’t come across any edgy fans who make stepping out a traumatic experience.”
Asked her to share some memorable fan interactions, she said, “When they approach, it brings a smile to my face. And if they see me but feel shy to approach, they drop a DM on Instagram. It’s endearing to meet fans in person and from different walks of life. They all love me as I am, and they enjoy my dancing reels too.”
“The recent one was in Dubai. Most people can’t put two and two together. Me being Savita Sahay in Hunterrr has created a huge fan base in India and abroad. As a person, I am very different from the characters I play on screen. At an event, someone literally jumped in excitement when I introduced myself. It turned into a funny moment. That’s how the ‘Meow effect’ is. The interview is on Instagram,” she added.
And when fans approach her in public, she just smiles and poses. She said, “Because that’s what we artists live for. Adulation comes from strangers, never from your near ones. Fans become our army of love.”
Asked her how she maintains a personal connection with her fans while ensuring her own privacy and space, Hansa said, “I am a mystery, and I like it that way. I am not easily available to fans, so compartmentalising my life helps me maintain balance and privacy.”
