Actor Akshay Kumar, popularly known as Khiladi Kumar, expressed his desire to work on another Khiladi franchise film. He is actively engaged in media relations, interviews, and other activities to promote his most recent film, “Welcome To The Jungle.”
While answering the question of journalist Yogesh Mishra in his recent interviews for his latest released third installment of the ‘Welcome’ series, Akshay says, “I wish to do another movie of the Khiladi series in the name of Aakhiri Khiladi. I am just waiting for the right script.”
When asked by another media colleague if he is serious about the Khiladi series and its title “Aakhiri Khiladi,” he further reconfirmed his dream of making this movie.
Khiladi (1992), directed by Abbas–Mustan, was the first in a series of films that had Akshay Kumar in the title role and gave him his first breakthrough role. The series consists of eight films starting from Khiladi (1992) and followed by Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi (1997), International Khiladi (1999), Khiladi 420 (2000), and Khiladi 786 (2012).
