Main Atal Hoon is a beautiful creation by director Ravi Jadhav. The movie talks about the full-life journey of our ex-PM, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The story revolves around Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Pankaj Tripathi), who has faced various challenges in his life since childhood. He witnessed the British-Indian era to free India and his political career’s ups and downs. He has been the Prime Minister of India three times and has achieved great things in his time. Since he has a well-known personality and almost everything is in the public domain about him, we do not need to discuss the whole story of the film.
The biggest challenge for director Ravi Jadhav was to portray a picture that was already known to everyone. Nothing as such was really exclusive about Atal Ji in the film, but still, the movie attracts and impresses the audience. It is director Jadhav who served known facts in a beautiful and exclusive way.
Apart from the beautiful direction, Pankaj Tripathi’s performance is another attraction of the film. Pankaj is the center of attention in the film. To a greater extent, his screen appearance and dialogue delivery match those of Atal Ji in the film. In a few of the scenes, it is really tough to differentiate if it was Pankaj or real Atal Ji. Apart from Pankaj Tripathi, other artists have also done justice to their parts.
Although music doesn’t play a major role in this biopic, the songs by Payal Dev, Kailash Kher, Amitraj, Salim-Sulaiman, and the background score by Monty Sharma have greater importance and add value to the film.
Overall, this is one of the finest movies of the year, and in a real sense, it’s a big tribute to our former PM of India. So, why wait? Go and watch it in your nearest cinema hall.
