MUMBAI: Renowned actor Pankaj Dheer, known for playing the role of Karna in BR Chopra’s TV series Mahabharat (1988), died today on October 15, 2025. He was 68 years old, and according to sources, he was suffering from cancer. He has worked in many super hit movies and TV serials, but his image in public was of playing the character of Karna in the Mahabharata serial.
He has worked in Jeevan Ek Sanghursh, Saugandh, Sanam Bewfa, Sadak, Badshah, Andaaz, Tarzan: The Wonder Car, and many more movies and TV serials.
At 4 PM today, Pankaj Dheer’s final ceremonies will take place at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai.
