The latest release of Fatafati has garnered accolades and raving reviews for Bengali superstar Ritabhari Chakraborty's performance. Recently, supporters used the hashtag '#RitabhariChakraborty' to trend the actress and demonstrate to the world her commitment to her work.

Based on the journey of an overweight girl wanting to become a fashion designer, Phullora Bhaduri, Ritabhari, took up the challenge to gain the weight for her performance. We have known Ritabhari to go all the way to be the part and get into the skin of the characters she plays. Her attempt to be the part and look the part with no prosthetics or body suit helped her character connect with the audience at a personal level. Having put on the weight, emotions that she portrayed were raw and real, her character. The film has inspired young girls who are healthy, to dream big, and break the conventional moulds and stereotypes which media and fashion having being enforcing and influencing the society.
Ritabhari Chakraborty, for the very first time, paired opposite Abir Chatterjee.
