Director Ashima Chibber's Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway is one of the finest family legal drama that talks about an Indian mother who fought with the entire legal system of Norway for her children.

The story revolves around Mrs. Debika Chatterjee (Rani Mukerji), who lives in Norway with her husband Mr. Chatterjee (Anirban Bhattacharya) and her two infant kids, Subh (approximately 5 years old) and Suchi (5 months old). A child welfare committee in Norway finds this couple incapable of taking care of and giving enough love to their children according to their country's law and regulations. Children's welfare staff conducts an inquiry to watch this couple, and based on that, one day, the welfare committee forcefully takes the custody of these two children, and the legal war between Mrs. Chatterjee and Norway starts. When Mrs. Chatterjee feels it will be difficult to get her children back from them, she transforms herself into a tigress to get them back at any cost. Does she find her children again? Despite being against the laws of the Norwegian government, does she win this legal battle through the emotional and sentimental values of an Indian mother? To know the answers to all these questions, one must watch the film.

Actress Rani Mukerji is the center of attraction in the film. Her performance is highly commended. The fit of Rani in the character of Mrs. Chatterjee is the best, and she has justified this role throughout the film. Other artists like Anirban Bhattacharya, Jim Sarbh, Neena Gupta, etc. have also justified their parts beautifully in this film.

The story is mind-blowing and touches the hearts of the audience. Apart from that, screenplays and dialogues are also beautifully written. The movie connects Indian emotions and beautifully showcases the cultural and sentimental values of India and Indians, especially an Indian mother who can cross any legal boundaries to safeguard her children. We can say that director Ashima Chibber succeeded in touching the emotions of the Indian audience.

Apart from a good storyline, its music is another strength of the film. Amit Trivedi's music touches the heart of the audience and enhances the beauty of the film.
