Director Abhishek Pathak is back with the sequel to "Drishyam", one of the most discussed movies of 2015. The story is just a continuation of its first instalment. So, to understand and feel the real pinch of the film, one must watch its prequel.

The story revolves around Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn), who has now accomplished his business mission and become the owner of a movie theater, but he still carries on with his cable company. His elder daughter Anju (Ishita Dutta) is still afraid of being arrested for her role in Sam's murder. Jealous of the family's rise in wealth, a number of locals have resorted to spreading rumours about Anju having venereal connections with Sam, much to Nandini's (Shriya Saran) distress. Jenny (Neha Joshi), who is frequently mistreated by her drunken husband Shiv (Nishant Singh), is a comfort to Nandini because she is a kind neighbour. IG Tarun Ahlawat (Akshaye Khanna), who is tasked with reopening the investigation into Sam's murder, is also a close friend and colleague of Meera Deshmukh (Tabu). Does this investigation reach a conclusion? Does Salgaonkar open up the truth? To know the answers to these questions, one must watch the film.

Actor Ajay Devgn is the centre of attraction and done justice to his role. Akshay Khanna and Tabu have impressed the audience with their mind-blowing performances. Other artists like Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Rajat kapoor, Saurabh Shukla and Neha Joshi etc. have also justified their parts in the film.

Although music does not have bigger roles to play in the film, still the melodious music of Devi Sri Prasad is quite impressive and enhances the beauty of the film.

Overall, this is one of the finest movie of the year. So, why wait? Go and watch is in your nearest cinema hall.
