What character have you played in film Pataakha?

I have played the character of Champa Kumari aka Badkee.

There is a scene in the film where you smoke bidi. Do smoke in real life too?

I don’t smoke so for me it was a different kind of experience. I really don’t like smokers.

You are basically from Delhi. How was your journey from Delhi to Mumbai?

I came to Mumbai for my television show only. I fell in love with Mumbai when I came here for the very first time.

What really attracts you in Mumbai?

The vibe of the city. I love the vibes and the people. It is like, now I can’t live anywhere else except Mumbai. Even I used to go to Delhi but hardly within one week I used to come back. Mumbai is my love.

How did you get the role in film Pataakha?

I auditioned for it. I was not connected with anyone in Vishal Bhardwaj films. I was always passionate about working with production houses like Vishal Bhardwaj Films. I was in Goa when I got a call from Pataakha team. They told me that ‘Vishal ji wants to meet you, he is giving you four scenes’. Immediately I planned to come to Mumbai. This is how I got my role in Pataakha.

What exactly inspired or motivated you to say ‘yes’ to Pataakha?

Because it is Vishal Bhardwaj's Film. I will always say ‘yes’ for Vishal Bhardwaj films irrespective of whatever role he will offer me.

What are your expectations from Pataakha?

To be honest, I am not thinking about the result. I enjoyed so much in the process of this movie that now I don’t bother about the result. Off course I want this film to do great. I wish it will become super duper hit.

How was your working experience with actor Sunil Grover?

He is like Narad Muni (laughs...)

Are you talking about his (Sunil Grover) character in the film or in real life?

Both (laughs..). He is very funny. He creates lot a fun. He is a very interesting person.

You have worked with director Vishal Bhardwaj. How was your experience working with him?

He is very easy director. He is always open for suggestions and everything. Being new comer even he used to discuss many things with me.

Who is your favourite actor in Bollywood?

Ranbir Kapoor. I am fan of his work.
