Can you introduce yourself?
I’m basically from Sikkim. I did my schooling in Shiligudi. After completing my graduation, I’m now perusing an acting career. Right now I am in Mumbai and doing a music video "Safar" directed by Suvendu Raj Ghosh.
Can you throw some more light on this music video?
This is a tribute to the Indian army. I’m playing the role of an army officer. This music video will be released in Hindi and also in the Nepali language. The Hindi version will be released by Zee Music Co.
How did you get on board with this music video?
It all happened when director Mr. Ghosh (Suvendu Raj Ghosh) came to meet a producer there in Sikkim. I met him there and he asked me if I would be interested in doing this. Since I was looking for such an opportunity, I said yes. This is how I got confirmed for this project.
How did you come to know about director Suvendu Raj Ghosh?
He came to Sikkim in 2012 for the release of his film, and after that, he came there several times for talent searches. I met him at a conference meet where I was also a panelist, so, in this way, we got connected to each other for the first time, and the rest is history.
Is this music video going to be like an entry pass for you in Bollywood?
I hope so. I think it’s a testing period for me and hopefully I will crack the nut.
What next after this music video?
For me, it’s a learning stage, so, definitely through this music video, I’m going to learn a lot of things under Ghosh Sir. The ultimate target is to reach the big screen, and with my hard work and learning experience with such a fantastic team, I would definitely achieve my goal. I have got confirmation to work with the same director (Suvendu Raj Ghosh) in his next untitled Hindi movie.
