Kashmira Shah is a renowned Bollywood actress. She has worked with many Hindi and Marathi movies. Apart from films, she has worked with many TV reality shows as well. She is wife of famous comedy actor Krushna Abhisek. Her few Hindi movies are- Yes Boss, Sazish, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye Holiday, Wake Up Sid and City of Gold etc. In an exclusive interview with Yogesh Mishra, she spoke about her childhood days, things she like in herself, future projects and more…

Tell us something about your basic family background and childhood days? 

My basic family background is that I come from a family of singers my grandmother was a very famous classical singer and so was my mother I cannot sing at all but then I always took solace in knowing that they cannot dance.

What are the 3 things you like most in yourself?

The few things that I like about myself is I am very headstrong I am God-fearing and I love animals so there is a lot of compassion and a lot of love for a whole lot of creatures

Which Bollywood movie or song touches your heart?

My all-time favourite films are ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Satte Pe Satta’.

When did you realize first that you should try your luck in Bollywood?

I don’t remember a time when I don’t think I ever wanted to be an actor when I was born I knew that this was the only profession I wanted to be and I never imagined that I would be a lawyer or an accountant or anything else in fact everybody at home thought I was going to be a doctor because I was superb in my studies but I always wanted to be an actor.

Due to corona pandemic everything was stuck. How did you utilize this lockdown period?

Well, I utilise this time during the lockdown by losing a whole lot of weight I made sure that my goal was achieved during the lockdown and I did not falter from my steps I made sure that I continue the diet I cooked food which is not great food so I eat less.

In case, if you have to change your industry, then what would be that?

I love my film industry there is nothing I will change in it.

What are your upcoming projects?

I’m doing a film Marathi film with Mahesh Manjrekar that’s my latest project.
